It was a snow-covered, crisp winter weekend when I last had the pleasure of capturing a two day event at Borthwick Castle and the castle could not have been a more welcoming and charming environment for a winter celebration. From it’s beautifully, and sympathetically, restored interiors to it’s roaring fires, complimented perfectly by the designs and candlelit tables of floral artist Paula of Liberty Blooms, it was an enchanting setting that perfectly encapsulated what anyone would imagine a luxury castle in Scotland to be.
