Who doesn't love a walled garden tented wedding in the dewy Scottish summer months?

L&D flew in from London to celebrate their wedding, surrounded by friends and family from across the globe, in the deeply romantic, historical setting of their beloved St Andrews— where they first met as University Students. 

Lavinia, having grown up in the beautiful countryside outside of St Andrews, chose to prepare for the day in her parents home, with her handmade gown hanging beautifully in her childhood bedroom as the bustle of a wedding morning quietly played out against the backdrop of a royal wedding in the rooms below.

Their elegant church ceremony took place in the heart of the historic town and was held in St Andrews Episcopal Church before moving on to a champagne and Loch Fyne Oysters reception in the nearby grounds of Strathtyrum Walled Garden, beautifully adorned with soft and delicate foliage and flowers from floral designer, Mood Flowers, in soft pinks and pastels— perfect for the time of year.

As is often the case, they were initially shy about having their photograph taken, but after the most delightful mini shoot in Lavinia's parent's garden a few weeks earlier, by the time their wedding day arrived, Lavinia and David were happily relaxed, swept up in love and brimming with joy. It was a truly special day and a privilege to document it all for them.
