From their peaceful home in the Cambridgeshire countryside, L and G made their way to Scotland to celebrate their wedding in the grounds of Cromlix House, just outside Dunblane. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, their day was intimate, joyful, and full of quiet meaning.
For L, Cromlix holds a special place in her heart. It’s where she’s celebrated other important milestones in the past — always with people she loved dearly by her side. So it felt deeply personal for them to return here for their wedding day, surrounded not just by those they cherish most now, but also by the memories of moments gone by.

Cromlix itself is a gem of a venue. A grand yet welcoming country manor, it was beautifully restored by tennis champion Andy Murray and his wife, artist Kim Sears, in 2023. The house manages to feel both elegant and relaxed — light-filled spaces, characterful rooms, and an atmosphere that invites you in to slow down, celebrate and feel at home.

L wore a custom Alena Leena Bridal gown with the softest flowing silhouette, delicate imprinted design, and whimsical bubble sleeves — sourced from The White Closet UK in Manchester. G’s soft green tweed suit by Squires Outfitters was the perfect complement, reflecting the Scottish countryside and the laid-back elegance of the day.
Their floral styling by Lavender and Rose Events was gentle and refined, flowing throughout the interiors, grounds, and chapel — every space touched with a softness that felt so in tune with the couple and the day.

The chapel at Cromlix — nestled within the house itself — was the setting for their vows, and it couldn’t have been more fitting. Intimate, peaceful, and full of history, it was the perfect backdrop for a ceremony that was heartfelt in every way.

L’s hair was styled by Robyn of Bespoke Bridal Hair by Robyn into elegant, face-framing waves that moved beautifully as the day unfolded, and makeup by Paula Beattie MUA was fresh, romantic and soft — effortlessly in keeping with the overall feel.
There were so many beautifully curated touches, from the delicate all-white cake with pastel floral-style icing by Liggy’s Cakes to their gold-foiled venue illustration on the stationery from Era Calligraphy — every element thoughtfully chosen, but never overdone.

L and G’s wedding was gentle, joyful, and deeply personal. The kind of day that stays with you.
